Suggested activity sequence

This sequence is intended as a framework to be modified and adapted by teachers to suit the needs of a class group. If you assign this activity to a class, your students will be assigned all student resources on their 'My learning' page.   1. Explain to students that they will be exploring the different types of businesses that exist in Australia.
  2. Students read the explainer or read it as a class. Support student understanding of the explainer by having use the Cornell note taking system to record notes.
  3. Students complete the worksheet.
  4. Discuss student decisions on which business structure they chose for each business and why.
  5. Students engage in the What type of business is this? – Interactive.
  6. Discuss with students what they learned and what they found interesting and why.
