Students develop a basic understanding of the indicators of business success in relation to each business function, such as meeting tax obligations as part of operational management.

This sequence is intended as a framework to be modified and adapted by teachers to suit the needs of a class group. - Brainstorm a list of successful businesses and why they are successful.
- As a class, read the explainer.
- Discuss with students the different aspects of a business and the indicators of success.
- Students complete the interactive, followed by the worksheet.
- Students outline the characteristics of a successful business in no more than 150 words
