The Australian Government’s Digital ID app is now known as myID. It has new name and look – but you don’t need to do anything and can use it in the same way. You still have:
- The app on your smart device: your existing app should have automatically updated – if not, you can manually update it from the App Store or Google Play.
- The same details: you don’t need to set up a new myID or reconfirm your details. Your login details and identity strength remain the same.
- Access to services: you can continue to access the services you used with your myGovID.
